I am SUCH a sad and sorry blogger!!!! I have much to blog about but I can't remember half of it...
I seem to take so many pics of everyone else that I forget to take some of my own kids so there's a heap of them coming up.
I've also done a little scrapping so there's that... and I also had an epiphany regarding what must be done for self-preservation. That one's deep so I'll spare you.
In our area of South East Queensland we don't have a visual reminder of Winter or Autumn. We have eucalyptus trees and brown grass. Deciduous trees generally exist in cooler climates so there aren't masses of changing leaves with those gorgeous gold, browns and reds in this part of the world. However!!!! We did manage to find one in a local park. The groundsman had just blown them into a pile under the tree and left them there so I told the kids to go and sit in them.
I even did a layout about it!!! The good part is here is the sneak peek...
The bad part is that it's out for publication. Yay me! Boo for you!
And I did this...
I still love that series of photos of girlfriend wandering around our back yard in her tutu.
NOTE: It's acreage so stop freaking out over our prolific weeds situation! I think the slasher came a couple of days after this. It makes the back yard look like a buzz cut in comparison. But anyway - you get the idea...
I took girlfriend for a ride to scout for locations. We had fun. A girl's day out. Pancakes for lunch to boot!!!
She is such a good sport when it comes to posing. This is what we ended up with...
Too cute!!!! It's probably too big for some screens to see when you click on it but you get the idea...
And this... only because it needed it's photo taken. Begged me, in fact. So I obliged. I'm good like that. =P
And THAT just about does it for today!!! Have a great weekend!!
Your kids are gorgeous, your photos are breathtaking! I want your dd's boots!
Congrats on the pub! You should have called the weeds wildflowers, I never would have known the difference! ;)
So are you using presets on your photos after you take them to get the cool edges or are you doing that with a filter?
