with Project 365. I have taken lots of pics since my last post, it's all the post-processing that is time consuming. Here are the latest additions...
We took the kids out for a drive on Sunday. These beautiful old Moreton figs make the best tree climbing trees. The branches are huge. Great canopy too. It was a beautiful day. Sun was hot. I'm over Summer. Only a couple more weeks until Autumn! Yay! Thinking out loud... if that is at all possible on a keyboard?!?
Here's #3 son 2 metres from the finish line.
I've named it 'Success' because in previous sporting events Tyler comes close to a place but just gets pipped at the post i.e. 4th or 5th but he has been guilty of not doing his best. Lately however, he has been working hard. So hard in fact that he is complaining of sore limbs and stomach and honestly thinks something is wrong with him. He is so sore the day after Tae Kwondo that he walks like an old man. Haaaah! He can't quite work out the "pain is gain" concept when it comes to increasing his strength and stamina. Anyway, at this swimming carnival he placed a 2nd, two 3rds and two 4ths. The fact that he is wearing the widest well earnt grin makes me so proud. Bless his little cotton socks!
Ok! For all of you that have enquired about a 'Boy' layout for my 'Dimensional Pop' class, here is your chance! Although, this particular layout is very easily converted to a 'Girl' layout. We're using the gorgeous new Basic Grey line 'Marrakesh'. Here is a small snippet for 'Dimensional Pop' for March at Scrapbooks etc. Dates, times and materials needed are in the sidebar on the right --->.
Call the girls to book your place as these classes are filling very quickly. See you there!
Tyler you should be proud and ya mumma is deservedly proud too. He was awesome at the swimming carnival, he put the effort in and got great results. Mind you the mamma did hold up the swimming program so she could get in to that perfect position to take that perfect shot hahaha Just imagine it, Lynette running down the pool, across the bridge (4 steps up along the bridge and then 4 steps down) while the whole school is waiting, waiting, waiting, the sports teacher is holding the crowd until yes Lynette gives the all clear waving she is in position, down on the side of the pool, leaning on a towel for support. Swimmers take your marks hahahaha You certainly know how to stop a crowd for that perfect shot!!!!!!

I was the resident paparazzi! Official photographer extraordinaire! And I had a PE teacher who was trying to get on my good side so he was very accommodating!

Way to go Tyler! Hard work pays off. I love the story Kessa tells of you holding up the races.
Your photos are still stunning.
I think I am deprived...I have never climbed a tree.

Great job Tyler! He can swim better than I can!
Your photos are great...I love that tree. Beautiful.
Is it too late in the year for me to start the 365 project?? :)

The tree photo is wonderful. It makes me want to climb a tree.
The swimming photo is great, too. It looks warm and inviting. (Cold and cloudy here today so the photo looks enticing.)

Sigh such beautiful photos. That tree is so green. Can't wait to see green trees in my yard again. A few more months before that will happen.
Glad you were able to get out and get a few more photos done. =)
